Somewhat urgent request (as I have projection gig tomorrow!)

I have MadMapper/Modul8 working correctly on my older iMac OS X 10.7.5
I'm trying to run the programs on a faster MacBook Pro (OS X 10.6. for the event as my iMac chokes on large file sizes.
I successfully activated both programs on the MacBook but the Syphon input on MadMapper either does not appear or is inactive. I've tried several different versions of the software with the same result. Reading up on this problem online, I've read this happens with hacked versions of the software - but I've paid for both of these programs! Am I allowed to run the software on 2 different computer sytems or do I need to de-authorize one?
I'm updating the OS to Maverick in the hopes that this will solve the problem.
Any and all suggestions greatly appreciated!!

hmm i have mavericks on my mac book pro and not really any syphon problems...
sometimes madmapper needs some minutes to recognize the syphon input or try several start options like first madmapper then the "syphon-app", or first the "syphon-app" and then madmapper.
or try it with different "syphon-apps" like quartz composer, madapps or any else... to see, if there is any problem with modul8 and not madmapper?

hey i have the Enttec ODE Open DMX Ethernet (not tested with madmapper but with many other software, but it is an artnet node... so should work)
and i am really happy with it!! and i can recommend it.
