is this a feature in the current MM 1.7.2??? I also need to know how to create curved masks is this possible?

this will be solved with MM 2.0, due out soon (very soon)

I am just making lots of dots. It becomes seamless at some point, however it is really annoying - the impossibility to use Bezier when masking :(

semi-sovled.
use multiple inputs, the one on top in multiply or substarct blending mode

hi there, l would like to know if the problem is solved, l would like to use a curved mask, no angles, and respecting the ratio and grid source.

No, there is no bezier on masks, but as Frz said, since 2.0 you can use a greyscale picture on a quad and set its "blend mode" to "multiply" or "subtract". Then you can strech it, you can do perspective on your "mask image quad", and do mesh warping.
You can also use a black image and make a quad with mesh warping to have bezier curves on the edges. However working with a picture of your mask is easier.
We still have the bezier masks high in the whishlist, so keep inform about updates.

Hi again,

So l tried successfully the trick with masking surfaces with bezier like you said and it was working very well, but l canted do everything l wanted :

l needed a central mapped surfaces with curves, and around this surface l wanted to uses several mapped surfaces, those with one single common extended source. This means l canted super pose a mask and the surfaces. Maybe it is hard to explain, maybe it is better to understand with this screencapture :

Image

l had to mask the video around the eye (ok this could be improved on my side but l had no time for this)
l wanted the "jewels" using the same image source, l mean not using the same source on multiplied surfaces, but on background cutted by several mask, l mean using an undistorted source (like l often do).

but l canted because the surfaces of the eye are masking the jewels, and if l put the jewels on the first level/layer, the mask of the jewels would mask the eye..

That is why l also would like to use masks with beziers.

But l have to say on this project l had fun anyway    and the trick with the curved surfaces helped me a lot !! Thanks !
