MadMapper Stuck in Full Screen Mode after Restart

    by CaseyJScalf » Wed May 27, 2015 11:50 pm

I have been having trouble when I restart or shut down my computer when using MadMapper on an external monitor or projector. What happens is that when the computer restarts and the screen is not connected anymore it is stuck in the full screen mode automatically after the computer turns back on.

This is not good because you cannot use the key commands, mouse, or access any other programs to exit MM. You are stuck. If you try and restart via the power key it says MadMapper interrupted. So you have to hard reboot by holding down the power button.

What is going on here and how can this mode either be exited properly when I get stuck or prevented in the first place?

Obviously a correct shutdown of the applications and computer is desirable but sometimes if you are out in the field and the battery dies or power is cut somehow this undesirable effect occurs.

    Thanks for any hints,

This is still an issue. Happens all the time. I found that there are a few ways to force quit applications.

This is fixed in 2.2.2. Thanks for the report (and sorry for the late reply)
