Hello all,

I just did my first LED mapping set up with madmapper, I was successful to map the 8 LED strips to an input, however when I use MadLine and animate a line going from left to right, The LED strip does not produce the light sequence which goes from left to right! but only it lights the whole strip.

I have uploaded a video to demonstrate the problem, follow the link :
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v-G2pwt ... e=youtu.be

Equipment i'm using:

-24 Channel LED DMX Driver :
http://www.amazon.com/Channel-Decoder-D ... 12+DECODER

-Enttec DMX USB Pro
-Mean Well power supply

Hope someone can help!

you are uing analog led strips. and analog led strips can only light up the full strip or nothing. you need digital led strips and a controller for them, take a look for "digital led strips" and then you can choose between many different protocols like WS2801, WS2811 etc...
(the controller is dependent on what protocol your leds strips will support)

By controller do you mean the DMX decoder? and regarding the digital LED strips do you have a good source to purchase them?

Thanks for the help

ive got this decoder, would it work? http://www.amazon.com/Channel-Decoder-D ... 12+DECODER
