Hi!
I,ve some installations that needs video with audio. There's a problem with MM2.2.x - video soundtrack plays with extending delay - it's not synchronized with picture over time.
Trying on MBP 15 retina (2012) internal soundcard or external NI Audio4DJ – same result.

Older Version (1.7.x) works perfectly.

What am i doing wrong??

what codec are you using ? resolution, audio format, os version ...
did you contact the support ?

1.7 was using QuickTime for playing back movies. MM 2 might behave differently depending on the file encoding.
You can try reenconding your file.
Question: does the checkbox "Use hardware acceleration" in media details helps ? It then uses Apple AVfoundation movie playback.

codecs usually: H.264 + AAC
video resolution usually about 2048x768
