Hi and Merry Christmas!

Is there a way to fix the problem that the main application window start hiding behind the fullscreen output on one of my projector displays rather than start on the main display?

Your mainscreen in OSX display preferences (the screen with the menu bar) should be your computer screen. Is that the case ?
