Output to a video file?

Is there a way to have MM render its output to a video file?
there's no way "out of the box" - we might design a system in the future.
a temporary workaround is to activate syphon output, and use syphon recorder to capture MM's output in realtime.
depending on your output resolution and hardware, this might be sufficient for your needs.
another workaround is to use a second computer with a video capture card such as blackmagic
