He so I never used DMX before VIA madmapper / madlight. I'm on madmapper 2.2.2. I have an enttec pro mk2. The firmware is on 4.10. The drivers seem to be installed as I am able to control the lights in PRO-Manager.

In Madmapper when I go in the preferences I select the enttec device. After this I'm not sure how to get the light to work. I have a dimmer pack and a regular par light. I go in the DMX section and add a fixture. Mad mapper and the dimmer pack are both set to channel 1. After that I am not sure what I'm suppose to do but I tried a bunch of things and I cant get the light to turn on. What actually turns the light on and off? The response fader? Luminosity?

Also connection wise all I have is the green DMX1 into the input of the dimmer pack along with the usb cable into the computer.

Any help would be appreciated.

To turn the light on, you need to put an input behind your DMX fixture like an image, video or some lines and then the color will control the DMX fixture.
