Hi guys , I am new to this software and I have a very basic question which is, to start mapping should I have a picture of the object that I want to map on. another quick question is that what are the recommended projectors that work fine on MM version 3.2.2 the demo version cause I have tried NEBULA projector and i had a rough time to project.

You don't need a picture of your object, you can use madmapper's built-in materials
to project generative content on your object.

As for projector,
I'd recommend having a look at http://www.projectorcentral.com/
and select a projector according to your budget.
