How to make a single property reactive to sound

    by steppenwolf » Mon Feb 20, 2023 2:47 pm

    Hello,

I come from Lightform. There, once the project has been published, you can make layers reactive to sound, by property (brightness, contrast, saturation, etc.). For example: a golden texture shines more or less according to the volume of the music; a texture wiggles more or less according to how much noise the audience makes.

In MadMapper, is there a simple way to make the value of a media reactive to audio input? I guess that changing contrast is not the same as applying an effect such as wiggling, but the principle may be the same.

Thank you very much in advance.

    Hi,
For sure, just right click the parameter widget (slider...) and choose Add Control / Audio / Amplitude (or bass, treble...)
    Cheers
