missing two features

Hallo there!
I'm currently working on a video art project, in the process of which I've been trying out several programmes. At the end of the day, the most suitable one appears to be modul8. I do however miss two features which work relatively easy in jitter.
1. There is, for instance, the 'jitslide' object, describes in the tutorial as a 'cellwise temporal envelope follower'.
2. In this 'jitslide' object there is, for example, the possibility so select the 'boundmode'. Thus it is possible, in moving pictures, to simply repeat the colour values of the edge of the image thoughout the available screen size.
Can anyone give me a hint as to whether, and how, these effects may be achieved in modul8?
