Option to fade together the start and end points of a loop

Someone posted this request to the Modul8 forum but I did not see it posted here. My apologies if it has already been requested here.
It would be great if there was an option to fade the start and end points of a video clip together to avoid annoying jump cuts in video loops. As a workaround I duplicated the clips with fades in After Effects and rendered out a 5 min. composition. But of course this takes up a lot of disk space when making many loops this way.
