My company has a number (4) madmapper licences that we juggle around on the many computers we own. If we need madmapper for a show or an exhibition or event, we might install it and activate it. We couldn't afford nor need a licence for every one of the tens of computers we own.
Problem is that often, in the rush of dismantling, we forgot to deactivate the licence once the job is finished. Then we have to find on which computer madmapper was activated, a time consuming activity, to free the licence.
We don't want to use the "monthly" pay model, for many reasons.
What would definitely solve our problem would be the option to activate a licence for a fixed amount of time.
E.g. I pick a laptop and on licence activation screen I choose "duration: 7 days". After 7 days, the activation expires and the licence must be reactivated online on that laptop while the licence "slot" is freed for use.
This will greatly simplify how we handle madmapper in our company.
