    hi there!
    i am a newcomer in the vj-scene and i have some total nerd-questions ;)

    i rencently downloaded modul8 then installed the FreeFrames package of Pete's plug ins...

    but obvíously the program doesn't recognize the filters...
    well, i heared of a so called "filter module"..

    is this module necessary for the usage of the filters,and where can i get it from?

    if you are on demo version you can not download modules and filter modul is the one that enable FF plugins.

    the filter module comes as standard with the full version, I would've though that the demo is the same

    Hi all,

    the "Filter (layer)" module comes with Modul8 2.5.7 Demo

    2.5.7 expects the freeframe plugins to be copied in the Plug-Ins directory next to Modul8 and Modules directory. The demo version already contains an empty Plug-Ins directory, just copy all you .frf files there.

    To use the Filter module :
    1) Modules | Show | Filter (layer)
    2) press the play button of the Filter module (the top-right one)
    3) be sure to select ALL in the bottom of the Filter dialog

    you will then see the Modul8 (M8), CoreImage (CI) and FreeFrame (FF, if installed) filters.
