    Question on deauthorizing

    by Magnum » Fri Sep 15, 2006 2:13 am

    Hi,

I would like to reformat my powerbook, and I'd like to know if there are any special procedures I need to be aware for this? Do I need to de-authorize Modul8 before the format or not?

    Thanks in advance,

    Magnum

Just in case, I'd say it's best to deauthorize!

You should really de-authorize I didn't do that for a long time until once I got the message that I couldn't authorize Modul8 anymore because I put it on to many devices (same machine but had to do a lot of re-formats because the machine was misbehaving). Luckily the Modul8 team helped me but now I always de-authorize first so I won't get in trouble again.
