    m8 slow

    by Mcfly » Mon Mar 19, 2007 6:54 pm

    Hi guys,
I have M8 V2.5.2 and I had the same problem when I updated quick time 7.1.5 The loops had a pause, so rolling back QuickTime my MacBook was very instable. I have had to reinstall Tiger
Now I have M8 V2.5.2 and QT 7.1.3 but It doesn't work well, my clips runs with a stutter
    I downloaded JavaUpdate too.
    Any suggestions?

    Thanks a lot

    Hi:
I have fixed to the problem updating to version 2.5.3 (tnxs Ives).
Another option is to use codec Sorenson 3, although Photo JPG is recommended.
    (In my Mac also works)

    regards

    Hi,

On a Mac Book Pro with 10.4.9 and QT 7.1.5, the last M8 2.5.3 doesn't solve the problem. Not only the video are not looping well but also freezing continuously...

Ouiiiinnnnn!!! No news from Apple about the next Quicktime update ?

Yes it is a problem that exists only with Quicktime V7.1.5 and (apparently OpenGL based application). You can even reproduce it with the Apple samples included with the developer tools.
