Modul8 vs Ableton and Midi

    Do you have "Track" enabled for your MIDI inputs in Live's MIDI preferences? That should be all you have to do.

    Record-enable a MIDI track > start recording a clip > wiggle a knob. Modulation is recorded into the clip.

    Helpful topic guys.. I'm doing the same kind of work but using live inputs via a roland SPDs sample pad - edirol 10 input audio and midi, microphones on kick n snare - ableton -
    I am recording the actions in modul8 as midi files.. live these files can be played back by the SPDs.
    Stop commands(speed to zero) freezes the out put and a pad for reset acts as start and stop.
    I use the kick and snare audio input for in and out points of clips and the audio routed to other parameter's

    we love it....
