    midi mapping erased

    by p8guitar » Tue Dec 19, 2006 10:40 pm

I spend several hours some days ago to assign a lot of midi mappings.
Today I open the project and there is no mapping any more - nada, nothing, nix.

Had someone similiar problems with v2.5 already?

    Peter

P.S.: Apart from that - v2.5 is a great update! I like the new filter and bpm modules a lot.

I guess you saved the project yes?
If yes go to Preferences/ - Key/Midi Mapping and use Document Configuration.

Preferences - Key/Midi Mapping is where you need to look I reckon. :D

the document configuration is saved, but the default configuration is not, this is a severe bug I think. close modul8 and open again, and the default configuration is blank, no midi mapping at all. Or change from default to document and back again, and you will also loose your default midi mapping, even without closing the application.

Did you "Save map as default" from the mapping menu? The default map is blank and then you have to save any changes you make to it.
