Hi,

We have a live video feed in Group A and movies in Group B. In addition to mixing the visuals, we are trying to get the audio from the live video feed to fade to the audio in the movies when we slide from Group A to Group B.

We routed the audio in via the mic jack. We know that Modul8 is receiving the live audio because we can see its effects when tied to an animation with Sound In selected.

We are unable to get the live audio to be output to external speakers via the headphone jack. We have the audio from the movies in Group B outputting to the speakers so we have the overall preferences set correctly as well as the master volume controls, etc. We have also checked the audio out levels for the live video layer and have its transparency set to totally opaque.

Are we missing something or is Modul8 not able to mix and output audio that it receives from the audio line in?

The answer is yes, Modul8 can't output your input (confusing? ) audio

Thanks for the confirmation. I understand that what we were trying to do with Modul8 isn't exactly what Modul8 was intended for. We ended up switching to the live feed via a video mixing box and we ran all the audio through a separate mixer as well. Modul8 worked great for the non-live video.
