.flv playback w/Perian component

I found 'Perian' component that allows me to play .flv with the QuickTime player - http://perian.org/ it supports many other codecs - DivX, 3vix, MS MP4, Xvid - but I still cannot play .flv in Modul8.
Any suggestions?
