Multi-Project + Screen Blend / Multi Input

I am sizing up several options for a multiscreen A/V mixing system. Competitors in the Denver Area are using a Folsom Encore Hardware interface to mix multiple live feeds + graphics / etc out to multiscreens (http://video.folsom.com/products/?index=1085530137_4734) . Nice setup but the pricetag is hefty about $80K. The big advantage with the Folsom is the harware screen blending that it does.

Q #1 - Is there anyway to blend the edges of multiscreen output in M8? Is there a possibility of including some rudimentary screen blending in future releases?

Q#2 - I need Multi-feed input. I am debating the purchase of a Multibridge Extreme (http://www.blackmagic-design.com/products/multibridge/)

The Multibridge Extreme ives multiple Ananlog / SDI inputs. I have heard good reviews about near-realtime processing with the Decklink Cards .. What about Multiple inputs?

A typical setup would be 3 x 10K Lumen projectors side by side edge blended for a widescreen Mainstage presentation. Image magnification of the speaker set PIP on 2 sides of the screen with logos/animation running in Center + a widescreen backdrop.

Ony diference I see between an $80K folsom and M8 is the screen edging/screen blending functionality of the Folsom Encore. ... They do make a Blender though (http://video.folsom.com/products/?index ... 5816_16587) . Perhaps that could work out of the box w M8 and a multi output MacPro.

Any thoughts from users / M8 engineers?

M8 does edge blending but not soft edge yet. I've heard about a module that would be created but it's not done yet. Anyway, you can make the soft edge with your beamer (usually high power dlp beamers include soft edge).
Concerning live input, even with an SDI or HD/SDI black magic card, you still have a lip synchro delay which can not allow you to use it for live parts on stage. Folsom allows you to have multiple PiP coming and leaving with effects and moves + acceptable lip synchro delay.

v2.6 is now available. Is edge blending now available then?

If I was to have a mac pro with 8 outputs, could I potentially edge blend/warp all 8 outputs into one crazy shape?

Yes, m8 2.6 is released but where is the soft edge blending?

About Blackmagic i have a Extreme HD capturing at 720p the delay is acceptable.
But, how do i output signals throught SDI outputs in Blackmagic? I've used a Blackmagic SP and it has an SDI output for monitoring working everytime by default, was wonderful.

How i can activate the SDI output in HD Extreme via MODUL8?

thankss.
