hy all,
i wanna use live as a sequencer..how do i map the midi to m8?
i think there is a software for that..but i don´t for wat therms i have to search...any hints?

i´ve messed with midipipe but no results?!
i need it this evening
or i have to carry my mpc with...

If you're running Live and M8 on the same machine, MidiPipe is necessary to get the midi signal from one app to the other. I tried this once but don't remember how I got it working. For live performances we keep M8 on a seperate laptop and use a MIDI hub to take the incoming signals from the other laptops (this seems to be the most efficient way for Live to control M8 ).

you can also use the IAC Bus built into Tiger.. which does a similar job

i use the mpc1000 for sequencing now, its the best solution for me...very flexible sequencer...
