    by antimony » Tue Dec 28, 2004 7:55 pm

i cant import mpeg or avi files, they work in quicktime but M8 wont let me import them. Should it work? otherwise what filetypes does M8 accept? and what is a good program for converting between formats?

    thanks tim

No, avi and mpeg does not work at this time and they are not very good file format for real time video anymway. The best is to recompress them using the Photo-JPEG codec. You can use Quicktime Pro for this purpose (there should be some freewares out there for recompressing movies, maybe...?).
