sometimes mediaset in edit mode moves the position of the GUI.
is not possible to place into a original possition.
I need to restart Modul8 for reset positon.

Modul8 2.5.4
powerbook g4 1gb Ram
1,5ghz
the same probleme are in te 2.5.5BETA vesion.

this is a problem in a live performance

that has happened to me once as well in 2.5.4 I believe.
loading a new project didn't help.
i too had to just restart to fix it.

This happens to me quite frequently too. I usually keep my media bank on the lower right butted against the right side of the screen, and thought that might be the problem as the interface has to expand to the left, but moving the media bank to the center of the screen before punching the edit button caused the same problem.
For the life of me I don't know the specific times this occurs. It just happens so often, I had to give up taking a chance on pushing the edit button.

I just tried to open M8 and do it again, but no dice. I think I'd have to be in a club in front of 500 people to reproduce the problem.

This has happened to me as well. No so much with the last 2 builds. Although the way I design my sets I don't mess with that option much during live sets. Am I missing out on something by not using it more?

I don't know that you're missing out so much necessarily. Sometimes I have a clip that isn't loading smoothly and I want to check and see if its streaming or loaded into RAM,
or theres the occasion where theres a really specific cue in the music and I think I need a clip thats more specific to the music and want to delete something and switch out, but thats about it.
but, yeah, muy frustrating!!

I can't find an instance to reproduce it either but it just happened to me again, and this time in the new beta 2.5.5.
