    preload options

    by bal » Sat Sep 29, 2007 8:08 pm

hi in the media set when you pink info in any of your files it gives you several preload options (ram preload uncompressed, ram preload, direct to disk) why is the difference of the weight of the files so big, and why is ram preload the preset isnt better for the program to leave the ram alone for it to run and preload your videos in the harddisk? soposing that i have several gigabytes free?

I'm very happy to help people, but they should demonstrate a very basic ability or inclination to try to find things out for themselves first. The manual should be the first thing you look at!
