can not sync to audio + problems with filter(layer)

    by treas » Thu Nov 08, 2007 1:51 am

i´m new to modul8, it´s a really nice software but i have two problems:

    1.
the bpm(global) module doesn´t let me sync the prog to the audio in.
i´ve got an audio signal (i see this with the sound viewer tool
and the "auto-move-by-sound-in" for example works too).
sync to midi works fine, also the tap is ok.

    2.
the filter(layer) module only saves the parameters from the first effect.
if i open a project, i have the 3 other fx too, but all parameters are set to zero.

    any suggestions?

if you want to bind the audio in with Bpm, BPM (global ) is not theright module to use. BPM(global) only sets the BPM speed . to bind audio in Pot to the bpm please use the BPM M-router (master) and use the "pick" button.

it's is normal, the module son't saves preferences, you gotta ask someone to edit the module or try to edit yourself. it's written in python. if you read the manual you'll find out how to save prefs. it's not a big deal but you gotta find the right dict to save.

    thanx for answering!

but for 1. - my ask was not accurate probably.
i meant that the bpm(global) doesn´t recognize the speed,
if i press -sync- nothing changes. but it recognizes a midi clock signal.

The 'sync' on the module is to sync it to MIDI not audio, it doesn't do sync to audio.
