    BCR2000 Global midi setting options

    by VjKg » Thu Dec 13, 2007 8:49 am

After having debated for over a year I finally bought the BCR-2000. After using the search command to no end I have three main questions left for the Forum. To anybody who is looking for which one to buy "DON'T POST, SEARCH".

Can I set the top row of push/turn rotary encoder groups (8/8 actual-32/32 virtual) to a Global setting over all of the presets (P1-P32)?

How can I change each preset group to assure a different channel for each knob within each preset group? I have found some of the Audio Program Factory presets share midi channels across the preset groups.

I want the presets buttons to not effect the encoder groups, so I can have more control.

Finally, Can Modul8 move the LED encoder light when changes are made via software or automation?

Before you all explode, I know this is not a Behringer Forum. I also know I can change each knob/button manually. I want to fun easy answer like "The BC-Edit_02beta3 program does it very well." or "Hold this button, then when it blinks, press this button until you see EX5". The 1 by 1 method seems so 1989.

I have some presets already and I am working on an overlay. My desire is to make a simple easy to remember setup that other visualists can play with during shows. I gotta take a break sometime.
