well swf-support seems to be completely taken out of quicktime 7.3.1

Apple is silence as a grave

I don't think it will ever be fixed, but if some has the installer for ver. 7.3 (intel) Please share it. "To remove quicktime completely guide" is also welcome.

I also saw this problem on the arkaos forums. It appears that if you updater quicktime the the support is lost.
The message seems to be don't update.

or: export your swf files to quicktime... by the way, does anyone has an app to do batch swf to quicktime convert with the ability to keep transparency?

Sigma I was looking into converting my swf to mov files but can't seem to find a way of doing it

Do you know of any software which will enable me to do the conversion?
i too have been feeling the SWF pinch..

Had a job in the other day and 25 SWFs came through and did not play. first thought was version 6 or above flash files.....no...the dreaded pull of SWF from QT.
I had a few months ago converted my SWFs (about 100) to movs.....good pla....I get round it by using Quicktime Pro and Automater.
For this hint to work you need QT 7.2 !
There are some automater actions out their that export to quicktime with last setting.
Set up qt to export to chosen format (could be aniamtion for Alphas and PJEGS for others.) and set quality etc. etc.
Make a quick droplet and drag a SWF onto it...ta da a quick convert method.
Hope this helps someone...
