Cant authorize and cant de-authorize... post-repair dilemma

Hello,

I have Modul8 on two iMacs: one 24inch for production / concert and an older 17inch for backup if the first fails during concert.
The 24inch had its RAMbus burned during a concert. Now Apple has repaired it by replacing the complete motherboard, since they could not simply replace only the RAMbus.

Well, now when I tried to open Modul8 I needed to re-authorize it. I guess it looks at the motherboard to identify that it is on the authorized machine. So - when prompted - I entered the serial number and was told "You already authorized the maximum number of machines allowed by your licence. Please de-authorize another computer."

I still only have the same 2 machines, but as far as Modul8 see's it, the 24inch is a new computer, but its not, its just a new motherboard.

Well, as you understand, I cant deauthorize this 24-inch that I have modul8 on, since it - by all practical reasons - "does not exist"... I cant ask Apple to send me the old motherboard, so I can mount it back into this computer so I can de-authorize it, and then again remove the faulty motherboard and reinsert this new motherboard and re-authorize it... And I still need Modul8 on my 17inch for back-up during a performance, so I cant de-authorsize that one. And I cant contiunue to only use the 17inch since it is not strong enough to run the projections smoothly (which is the reason I bought the 24inch).

See my dilemma? How to solve this?

cordially
