Hello, is it possible to edit the cont.midi map in a text editor (btw. for v.1.1.0) ? It would save me a _lot_ of time...
thanks !

ok, so i've found the 1.1.0 .md8 files to be basically .xml files, which is good news..
i've made a contextual midi setup for one layer,
which i'd like to copy paste onto 4 other layers, with the only difference being that for each layer the midi channel is different.
can i do a find and replace in bbedit ?
if not, how would you approach such a task ..
i uploaded the xml file here :

thanks !

Yes. You can edit the XML file directly with a text editor and find and replace or copy and paste directly the required values.

Indeed, i understand that they can be edited. Question is how ?
Could you take a look at my previous posting and give me a hint on where to start ? As the xml editing is not documented it's quite a headache to figure out what goes where .. thanks !

Maybe you should try to use a XML editor. The developer tools come with an application called the "Property List Editor". Simply change the file extension to ".xml" and open it. It is a lot easier to navigate inside the file using an XML editor.
You may also want to use the beta version 2 that allows you to use the same contextual mapping for all the layers (unlike the version 1).
