    painful midi programming

    Hi GC team:

OK - I love the program but the midi is driving me nuts - I want to have 5 layers running in each layer set and have easy access to the keying and mix modes of all layers at once. So I am routing thru contextual midi to the keyboard of an oxygen 8.

11 parameters x 5 layers x 8 layer sets = 440 individual settings to make this patch. I have been trying to copy the midid settings from 1 layer set to another but they are not moving over. I have also tried using my settings as 'default but that doesn't seem to work either. I'm not clear on what 'default' would mean here - when you open a new file there are no midi connections at all.

I'm thinking key maping might be a better idea for some of this "global push button" control. Seems to copy the key commands from layer to layer when you duplicate

    Any thoughts on this issue?

just tried key mapping but it is specific to the layer selected. So that won't work.
