    actually I upgraded on one system. so far all is well. with the 2.5.5 there may not be any issues. we shall see.

    I was going to use some flash objects first time and it does not support media with QT7.5 even with newest M8 2.5.6. But all is well on my other mac with QT 7.4.5.

    Problem solved. My user account was messed up.
