Hello
As I reduce layer opacity on the slider (move from left to right) in any layer. The opacity of that layer goes black after 3/4 of the way along. This has just started after installing the lastest version of m8. Obviously it should not do this.

Try disabling all modules and see if the problem persists. If the problem goes away with shutting down all of the modules then progressively turn on modules to find out which module might be causing the problem.

Also... what kind of codec are you using on your clips?

problem still ongoing

Hello
problem still ongoing. Turned off all modules and it still does this. using photo-jpeg codec. This does not do it on my g4 powerbook using Tiger. I am using Leopard on the G5. I have trashed the preference file, it still does it. Perplexed!!!!

SOLVED

Problem was with my "Blank Master" doc that I programmed all my midi info into. This some how was corrupted I presume. I will now have to remap my midi controller to M8 again.
