X Y Z unwanted triggering with audio

Hello M8users,

I just had a gig this past weekend and x y z controls moved o triggered to certain position without being moved by me. I guess it was the music. The other thing that seemed strange was-following the above-, for example, that the transaparency didnt go all the way to the right, aswell as the fader to either side. I turned off the audio input on the computer aswell as the knob in M8, yet the problem persisted.

Some insight? Thank you.
g.

This sounds like you've either got a module doing this or you've recorded it and its playing back. Another cause could be your midi mapping.

Nop, no recording. Midi mapping, how?

If you've been using layer set and position midi mapping you can map more than one interface item to a single controller, so maybe by accident or forgetting what you've already mapped you are causing the random changes while controlling something else.
have you checked your modules, specially the BPM layer?

make sure the UC33 is set correct. sometimes instead of 0-127 the midi's internal settings can get changed on accident. that means instead of 0-127 you might be getting 0-80. therefore missing 47 increments.
