. i'm trying to get modul8 to use an xlr8 proview usb as my video input (via preferences) and a pyro firewire webcam (via quartz composer) as a 2nd input w/no luck. i've done this before on a macbook running 10.4

. on my macbookpro (last generation before the new black keyed keyboard) running 10.5 (all up to date) i can't get it working. i've created a new quartz composer piece (video input -> billboard) and saved it as a .qtz and .mov file. it runs fine in quartz composer. both files 'load' just fine in modul8, but are completely blank! i'm thinking i'm missing an important step or there's something different i need to do for 10.5

. any ideas?

Are you aware that you need the security patches by Kineme for Quartz Composer to use video input in Modul8?

Get the patch here: http://kineme.net/QuartzComposerPatches ... oInput/0.1

It's the same for Audio and Midi. Kineme has it all.
