Mouse playback of clips vs MIDI or KEYBOARD playback

Hi
It appears midi and keyboard triggering of clips is not equal to
mouse triggering of clips.
Mouse triggering works perfectly but midi/keyboard triggering seems to
play the clip before modul8 switches to the newly selected clip.
In other words, I play clip-1, then play clip-2.
When I play clip-2 I see frame-1 from clip-1 then clip-2 plays.
Anyone else experience this?
I use latest modul8, macbookpro (1year old/6gig ram), and my clips are
.mov animation codec buffered to ram.
Any help would be appreciated - Thank you.
