various observations

I noticed a number of things this weekend during two days of using V2 -

1. I found some sort of conflict between using a text layer and a video capture layer at the same time and within the same half of the dual 5 layer set; I tried this twice during the day/evenings and both times the text output went glitchy with what looked like interference (!) and refused to be edited.
The video input was a wireless cam? When used on their own both wireless video capture and text input otherwise worked wonderfully well.

2. A number of times I found the output image looking odd and discovered that all the master rgb INVERT COLOUR sliders had gone to max of their own accord! Re-set them and all looked as usual. My feeling is that this happened each time I imported media if that makes any sense.

3. When setting up midi control of the main logical record function, selecting the record button actually triggered recording as well as allowing midi to be set.

I also had a horrible moment of total slowness and frame dropping
when opening the previously saved project for the gig
but I see this is being fixed all ready, thank you.

Fantastic software even so.

invert output colour

Just downloaded V2.01 and imported a few files and watched the output area go white as all three 'Invert Output Colour' sliders in the Master area set themselves at max.
Anybody else seeing this or is it really only me?!!!
:(

Do you have a key map for the invert button (master) ?

using the invert button & color invert sliders a lot sometimes leaves it "stuck" in inverted mode.

the workaround has been to manually put all sliders back to zero...

add: I do have all of them mapped to keys / midi

Boris,
I have no key map set for the invert colour button or sliders (unless there is one set by the programme) and unlike Saturnines don't (so far) use this function much if at all.
With V2.01 this auto invert has only happened once, at either the first or second use, not since.

With V2.00 it happened a number of times, say 4 or possibly 5. I would see something odd about the output only to realise that all the invert colour sliders were at max; re set them and all ok.

I have just done a gig with V2.01 and there was no further evidence of auto inverting although I used an old set, an existing project created in V2.00, and didn't Apple'I' any files as far as I can remember.
I will try and replicate the problem when I get a mo.
