Is there a drop shadow available?

Not as I can recall (if there isn't a FreeFrame filter?). The way I have done it in the past is to do drop shadows in png images with transparent background. I guess you could do the object and the shadow in difrent png files and create some effects by animating them separately.

Thanks, I thought about that as well. Just trying to add some depth on items that were using luma on the fly.

duplicate your layer, change its colours to black, blur, adjust transparency move the layer to the right offset position. Voila. It even works with animated shadows, you can use ff perspective transform on it or whatever takes your fancy too.

It's not a case of having loads of tools but rather making the most of simple ones.
