    clearing a layer, how is this done??

    by mannikin » Sat Jul 09, 2005 7:42 am

    I feel like I'm missing something here! How does one go about clearing or reseting the media on a layer? Once a layer is linked to a media, there seems to be no way (I can't find one) to unlink that media from that layer. :? I've had to delete the layer to basically resolve this. Can someone please point this out to me? I've looked in the manual as well.

    Thanks;
    John

    if you do not have your media bank full, you can click on a blank field if not, there are different ways to hide your layer, and you'll get the same result as a blank layer

    Yeah, I figured out the blank thing as well. So, no actual reset or clear function then, huh? Oh well, at least I don't feel stupid that I had missed an obvious function. :)

    Thanks;

    Sometimes I dfind thsi inconvenient as well. a "reset layer" function would be swel. This could be easily made with a module I believe!
