When i try to use the 'record to disc' from a 'video capture' layer
the dual/second screen output goes dead and is un-recoverable the
instant i hit 'record'.
The 'video capture' recording takes place and a file is saved
but I need to quit and reload M8 in order to get my beamer output back.
