    Dynamic canvases?

    by Finn » Sat Nov 14, 2009 6:30 am

How do I use the special media bank. I would like to use a dynamic canvas like CosmicPainter or Alchemy. I feel like I am missing some simple action, but I can not find mention of it in the documentation or on line.
    Thanks

The fastest way to access the Paint module is to open it up from the modules menu.

From the Finder menu select 'Modules > Show > Painter'

The same goes for the Text module.

So the paint module is how you bring a dynamic canvas into M8? What is the Special Media-canvas for? And how does that work? Thanks

I have played with Alchemy lately. While I am going to use it as a standalone projection I tried bring it into M8 as well. I used screen capture and rebroadcast(BLACKOP) and got it to M8 as video input. And better yet I run my second mac with Alchemy full screen - VGA to scan converter - analog video to M8. Much better quality and frame rate.
