modul8 interface screen appears when moving parameter!/wtf?

    by Akira » Tue Jul 19, 2005 11:56 pm

    Hey guys,

I got this bizarre thing more than once already..

Using v2.0.1 but happened with previous V2 versions too.

I think it has to dow ith the patch efect...

I took a picture and put it in a layer. I set the patch effect to DOTS surface, width 5 or more. I put the audio signaling in so it deforms with audio.

now, every time Y try to move ANY parameter with my MIDI controller, the modul8 interface screen appears in teh second output instead of my image! This does not happen in the preview frame, though, just on the second output!

I coudln't reproduce this with ay other effect or setup. I can provide a patch that shows the problem if needs be!

Do you know whats's going on?

    My setup:

    iBook G3 @ 700, 384MB of RAM
    OS 10.3.9
    Edirol PCR30 controller

    Cheers!

    Hey!

    no reactions to this?

I keep getting this error, and it seems to happen on any instance of the Patch transformation methid. It sucks to have the modul8 screen displaying on the projector while twiddling knobs!

Never saw that before. We are trying to reproduce it now. Is it still on your G3 iBook ?
