    Im about to buy the new macbook pro, but I was wondering how much a speed increase I can expect with SSD harddisks, instead of normal 7200 RPMs..? Is t worth it? (Of course not from apple)

    I have SSD in my MBP and running clips with alpha are 50% better, overall performance about 20-30%. I would have never bought one at the normal price - just got lucky at the local auction site.
