QUICK HELP FOR USBCAM ADVICE

a fast advice
In a couple of hour I'll start a small show. I want to project on walls the gig but I just discover than to use my canon HG-10 I need an external video card that I don't have time to buy right now. I want to buy a nice web/usb cam. I'll put it on the stage with long usb cable. Does it work in your opinion? Is there another solution? wich model for mackboo pro 2007 could work in a nice way
