How can I link four cameras to my macbook pro, to work with modul8?

Using USB or FireWire splitter and usb or firewire cameras. Because of quicktime, only one DV camera at a time is allowed. You can also plug a capture card that have more than 1 input

What are the best non DV cameras I can use?
