16:9 advice

Hello,

Apologies if there's already a post on this... But i can't seem find one.

So, the problem is that I'm now filming in 16:9 and all my old clips are 4:3.

Does anyone have any tips for integrating the two? The only thing I can think of is to start using 16:9 clips, but keep the 4:3 output and simply allow for the cropping of the widescreen clips.

In 4:3 I've been exporting as Photo Jpeg 512 x 384. What dimensions would you recommend for 16:9.

Any tips / experiences / lessons welcome.

Thanks,

Gemma
