Modul8 keeps crashing!!

Please can someone help me, this is becoming an issue now!

I seem to regularly have Modul8 crash on me now and unfortunately this has happened at about 6 of my last 8 gigs!

Im running the latest version on a Macbook Pro with 2.4ghz Intel Core 2 Duo Processor and 4GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRam. I use a firwire or usb external hard drive and there is a good 50gb of free space on the internal HD.

When it crashes it throws me out completely after a very short program freeze. I don't know if its been for the following reason all the time but the last few times its happened its been whilst importing new clips (whether it be drag and drop or using the import method). I thought maybe i was asking too much of it so i kept the layers to a miminum but its still crashed since even when importing just one clip!!

Has anyone else had this problem or got any suggestions.... Please!!

I have had this kind of crash when my clip is badly coded. Try to get a crash log and send to garagecube team if you can not sort the reason yourself.

I am having exactly the same problem with my mac book pro Macbook Pro with 2.8ghz Intel Core 2 Duo Processor and 4GB 667 MHz DDR3 SDRam.
And even having my saved md8 files corrupted after crashing! I don't think is simply a a codec issue, cause i worked before with modul8 on my old g4 and never got so embraraced in my gigs as now.
I am sad, and needing help!!! Please!
