Mapping midi to control dial in the filter menue

    by pele2010 » Wed Feb 16, 2011 6:41 pm

    Hi there,

is there a way of mapping midi to the filters section ?

i would like to map a control dial of a midi interface to the dial of the filters

let´s say i want to map the dial of the blur intensity to a dialer

and then in a other filter set like gloom i want the same dial to react to
the intensity of the gloom effect.

here 2 pictures from the filters modul:

would be great to here that there is a solution for the
    mapping problem.

(i did try all three modes , focus, position, layerset+position)

    thanx Peter

If you know specifically which filters and what parameters of those filters you want to use I would advise creating a custom module to do this. Just a few knobs will do. You should also check on the public section as there may already be something simple like this that you can just customize a bit to your liking. You should not have to write any fancy code for it, but you might still want to refer to the online module manual.

Use the "(at) Filter (layer)" module in the online public library. It allows mapping then head over to http://collectedconsciousness.wordpress.com/ and make a small donation. :D
