    Saving/duplicating layer position

    by morph » Mon Mar 21, 2011 12:30 pm

    Hi folks,

I'm getting serious with my use of M8 and I've hit a bit of a snag.

I regularly work on a split LED wall (2/3rd behind DJ, 1/3rd infront) and I like to size and postion my loops to be on either the bottom or top sections of wall.

I have no trouble sizing and positioning the layers in M8, however when I save and reopen the project all the layers positions have been reset to Centre (however they do retain their size/stretch settings.

Is it possible to save the postions and have them reload with the project? Also when I use ++ to duplicate a layer it also resets the new layer to the centre, is it possible for this function to also dupicate position info?

    Cheers

If you are using modules shut them all off as one of them may be causing this.

That seems to have done the trick seems it was either the Media Set overview module or the EQ curve module causing the problem as it seems to be saving positions fine now :)
