Basicly I sant to use it as à midictroler..

So i can map the same things as with my uc-33 midi controler.

Are m8 able to read the midi signals from midi drums

Some time back there was a conversation about this. Basically you can map MIDI notes to trigger events like launch clips or MIDI control data to control sliders or radio buttons like clip speed. But drums are played too fast to have any meaningful effect. Maybe if you have one drum that is hit in longer intervals like bass drum to trigger clips. Or if you make your clips to precise length and let them play to the end before new trigger is received you get some kind of to the beat effect.
In short you can map your drums but it is difficult to get good effect showing.
